About a year ago my sister had a medical emergency that landed her in the hospital and then a rehab facility for several months. Everything happened so fast and I didn’t know what I was going to do about her cat, Gabe. I was unable to take Gabe and I hoped I wouldn’t have to take him to the shelter. My vet told me about Puppa’s Pals and we contacted them right away. The Puppa’s Pals organization was a lifesaver. Within a couple of days we had arrangements to meet and get Gabe to his foster home. I stayed in contact and I would give them updates but still didn’t know if or when my sister would be able to go home. Kayla reassured me that there was no time limit on how long Gabe could be fostered and that he was safe and happy. The foster even sent pictures and videos so my sister could see how well he was being cared for. It was one less thing she had to worry about so she could concentrate on her recovery. Everyone I dealt with at Puppa’s Pals was so kind, caring and wanted to do whatever they could to help us through these major life changes, asking nothing in return.
